A day in the Life of an Auto Body Technician at Carrier Centers_

Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors, frame and underbody components as per manufacturer's specifications.
Use of plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams.
File grind and sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools.
Mask and tape body surfaces in preparation for painting.
Sand blasting may be required.
Thoroughly reviews each repair order prior to beginning work on vehicle.
Maintain equipment and report to supervisor any defect in equipment or protective device.
Follows all environmental procedures when handling environmentally sensitive products.
Ensures the Collision Center is kept in a clean and orderly fashion.
Complies with all Carrier Centers' policies and procedures including Health and Safety Policies and Procedures and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
3+ years of body repair experience required.
Auto Body Repair certificated would be an asset but not necessary.
Valid "G" license with a clean drivers abstract.
Ability to provide excellent customer service while demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Must have strong organizational skills, a high attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Must have own tools.
