    Première Moisson manufactures and sells bakery, patisserie and charcuterie products using an artisanal approach and wholesome ingredients. We employ over 1,200 people and have more than 20 bakeries in Quebec and Ontario.

    We are currently looking for a Pastry Maker to join our team.

    Job status: Permanent - Full time

    Shift : Day shift - 7am to 3:30pm

    Salary : 20,60$/h -> After 3 months : 21,63$/h

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare doughs, creams, fillings, cakes, entremets, chocolates and other products according to Première Moisson recipes and manufacturing methods
    • Mix the various recipes according to established procedures
    • Ensure rotation of raw material inventories
    • Apply quality, hygiene, sanitation and occupational health and safety standards established by Première Moisson
    • Confirm recipes in SAP software
    • Support, as needed, the team in assembling entremets
    • Lift weights of up to 25 kg for certain tasks
    • Guide pastry labourers in the execution of their tasks
    • Work closely with other pastry chefs and assistant pastry chefs
    • Keep supervisor informed of any problematic or conflictual situations
    • Support production in compliance with food safety procedures and various certifications
    • Support production in the application of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
    • Ensure compliance with the company's Occupational Health and Safety policy.
    • Perform any other duties as requested by immediate supervisor.

    Requirements :

    • DEP in pastry-making minimum
    • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position
    • Mastery of pastry-making techniques
    • Methodical, flexible, focused on product quality, results and teamwork
    • Speed of execution
    • Strong organizational skills
