Hitachi Energy is seeking an Order Manager for its Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania location. This role is responsible for providing order management services to clients.
Activities include helping clients to handle order processing, order fulfilment, review of orders, order entry, order dispatch & support, order payment etc.
for their customers. Ensures timely release of orders and a fulfilment of pre-established standards and policies to achieve customer satisfaction. Monitors and resolves order issues and processing errors. An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. This position is for our Power Grids High Voltage Capacitor business. If you are self-driven and have worked in project management or commercial operations, we want to hear from youResponsibilities:
- Review customers' specifications and examine new contracts to ensure thorough understanding and adherence to desired contract terms and conditions. Monitor, analyze, and report on contract performance, and control contract documents.
- Review and coordinate flow of information among various groups and customers, and implement measures to resolve problems, ensure meeting schedule commitments and achieve customer satisfaction.
- Act as the group's representative in meetings with customers.
- Ensures that the order follows execution best practices and Hitachi Energy policies. Effectively monitors and controls order progress and efficient resource utilization. Monitors and controls order financials, overseeing order invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow. Identifies, qualifies, quantifies, and manages order risks, and ensures that all opportunities are identified and pursued.
- Captures, analyzes, and shares lessons learned throughout the order. Ensures that the order is formally closed out, as contractually agreed. Drives the formal acceptance of the order, contract closeout and its acknowledgement by the customer.
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience in similar position, project management or commercial operations OR Associates degree and minimum of 5 years' experience in similar position, project management or commercial operations.
- Fluent in both verbal and written English and French
- Prior industrial, technical experience (preferred).
- Organized and structured approach to orders in a fast paced, deadlineoriented environment.
- Able to prioritize tasks and activities based on the current load.
- Team player who likes to win.
- Excellent computer skills (good working knowledge of MS Office).
- Prior SAP experience.
- Position is based at our Mt. Pleasant location. Hiring manager open to remote work a few days a week.
