Description
Purpose:
The Summer Student position works in a support function within the relevant department in an administrative and/or a technical capacity.
It provides the student with the opportunity to develop relevant skills and experience and receive experiential on-the-job training, guidance and mentorship.
Education:
Must be a current student.
Experience:
Previous experience in construction or renovation (painting, caulking and/or handyperson skills) is an asset. Cleaning experience is an asset.
Skills:
Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills.
Ability to obtain and relay accurate information in a clear and concise manner.
Flexibility in adapting to changing priorities.
Ability to handle a high volume of repetitive work.
Ability to meet frequent deadlines.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Excellent customer service skills.
Additional Notes:
Successful completion of mandatory orientation & training required. Safety shoes required ? to be provided by the incumbent.
