Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities will include:
Ensure dispatch coverage of routes daily, and provide updates as required.

Monitor and adhere to key performance indicators within the operations as outlined by company and customer requirements.

Assist/coach drivers & owner operators to meet maximum potential while maintaining delivery time specifications.

Ensure the accuracy of completed time sheets, payroll, and other summaries.

Ensure proper functioning of equipment.

Provide customer service.

Assist with the maintenance of communications equipment.

Knowledge of cross-border dispatching, and customs clearance.

Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment.

Reviewing driver documents for accuracy and approving billable & payable hours.

Reviewing dispatch schedules and plant details daily and strategically re-evaluating plans to respond to changes.

Process-driven individual, who excels at executing tasks from conception through to completion.

Qualifications:

Must have 23 years of experience in a similar role & the same industry.
Well organized, an excellent communicator, and has a keen sense of timeliness.
Knowledge of the transportation industry and North American geography are considered assets.
Able to quickly adapt to changes, shift focus, meet deadlines, and complete timesensitive tasks.
Ability to work flexible hours as necessary.
Proven ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
