As one of Canada's largest medical clinics, the facility comprises more than 30 physicians, mainly specialists. Manitoba Clinic offers a diverse range of professional medical programs and health care services.

The Clinic is located adjacent to the Health Sciences Center in the west end of Winnipeg, at the southwest corner of Sherbrook Street and McDermot Avenue.


Position Summary:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Purchasing Clerk plays an integral role within the Manitoba Clinic.

In this role primary responsibilities include but are not limited to financial and administrative tasks relating to the management of purchasing departmental operations, as well as receipt, delivery and management of received inventory items.


What you will be doing:


  • Receive, analyze and distribute orders for supplies within the organization
  • Provide weekly reporting on ordering trends and process
  • Maintain accurate records of orders and reporting
  • Keep all documentation confidential and protected
  • Conduct supply inventory as needed on a quarterly basis
  • Ensure accountability for purchasing administration
  • Ensuring all supplies are stored safely in a way that complies with the law
  • Providing nurses and other health care staff with relevant forms to complete
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality concerning personal information about patients
  • Assisting with audits and other investigations by making available the appropriate documentation
  • Other duties as assigned

You have:


  • Minimum two years of administrative or purchasing experience or equivalent education
  • Attention to detail is a must for this role
