Duties
- Manage the fullcycle recruitment process from start to finish for union and nonunion positions;
- Act as a strategic partner in training and supporting Hiring Managers through the recruitment process and the use of UHN's automated job posting and applicant tracking system;
- Design and update job postings, screening guides and interviewing tools for Hiring Managers;
- Meet internal stakeholder expectations while ensuring that processes and practices adhere to employment legislation, collective agreements, and all applicable policies;
- Participate in other committees and projects as available and assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations, required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in Human Resources, with postsecondary study in Human Resources, preferred;
- 2 to 3 years of demonstrated experience leading fullcycle recruitment processes, adhering to all legislation, corporate policies, and collective agreements;
- Solid knowledge of applicant tracking systems and organizational processes in recruitment in the broader public sector, ideally in a unionized health care environment;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a track record of providing superior customer service to both internal and external clients;
- Ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment;
