    Guest Experience Leader

    We are currently looking to fill full-time and part-time positions for a Guest Experience role in our restaurant. The Guest Experience individual is responsible for enhancing the dining experience for our guests and offering exceptional support that goes above and beyond at McDonald's. They consistently uphold McDonald's positive and professional image to guests.

    The chosen candidate will have the following responsibilities:

    • Engage with guests throughout the restaurant to create a welcoming dining atmosphere, which includes providing directions, assisting parents and seniors, and inquiring about their visit and the food quality
    • Collaborate with the maintenance and dining room team to ensure the restaurant is clean, well-maintained, and equipped to meet guest needs
    • Act as a Guest Traffic Guide (GTG) during peak hours

    Training Provided:

    • Receive training to become an expert on McDonald's, our history, menu, and community involvement specific to the restaurant
    • Demonstrate knowledge of the local community, provide directions, and connect with guests of all types and generations

    The ideal candidate will possess:

    • An engaging, outgoing personality with a customer-focused mindset
    • Proficiency in service stations and certification in guest fundamentals
    • A commitment to enhancing the guest experience through anticipating their needs proactively
    • The ability and empowerment to assist in guest recovery
    • Prior experience in hosting is considered an advantage

    Your personality and expertise:

    Prior experience in food service or retail, such as a barista, server, sales associate, cashier, team member, or customer sales representative, is beneficial, but what truly matters is your character.

    McCafé made its debut in Canada in 2011 and has emerged as a key player in the Canadian quick-service coffee industry with its Premium Roast coffee and espresso beverages. Expanding beyond coffee, McCafé now offers Real Fruit Smoothies, Frappés, and Bakery items. In 2015, McCafé unveiled its first standalone café in Toronto, showcasing its signature coffee products and a café-style menu. Our coffee is crafted from 100% Rainforest Alliance Certified Arabica beans and is available in grocery stores and onboard WestJet flights.
