Lower School Student Support Services Teacher

Delaware County Christian School is seeking a full-time Lower School Student Support Services Teacher for the school year. The primary responsibility of this position is to work with students who are enrolled in Student Support Services.

Qualified individuals must have:

• An active and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• A Special Education degree or post-graduate work in Education with an emphasis on varied learning differences
• Experience working with students with mild to moderate learning disabilities
• Ability to effectively implement Accommodation Plans
• Ability to assist students with grade-level subject matter
• Ability to develop and implement strategies for individual student success
• Ability to support and collaborate with classroom teachers and administrators
• Willingness to communicate regularly with parents
