- Designing and Implementing Software of Embedded Devices and Systems
- Electronics background with proficiency in digital design and HDL such as Verilog
- Strong Hands-on experience in programming with C/C++/Verilog/Matlab
- Strong knowledge of microcontrollers, computer architecture is desired
- BS or higher degrees preferred (Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with Software experience)
- Electronics background with proficiency in digital design and HDL such as Verilog
- Proven SW/FW architecture skills showing a deep understanding of embedded systems and micro-processors
- Familiar with bare metal programming techniques, interrupt handlers and concurrency.
- Knowledge of how to write code for CPU and memory constrained environments is an asset
- Proficient in using GCC. Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Perl) is an asset.
- Strong problem solving and debugging skills. Experience using hardware debugging tools such as logic simulators, logic analyzers, JTAG, ICE, etc. is an asset.
- Attention to detail, well organized, multi-tasking and ability to follow detailed documentation, strong willingness to learn new technologies and concepts
- Team player with good interpersonal skills - adaptable and flexible
- The position requires good written & verbal communication skills as well a strong commitment and ability to work in cross-functional and globally dispersed teams
