LORICA Equipment is an emerging têxtile manufacturing company based in Chilliwack, BC. We design and produce high performance apparel and technical equipment for a variety of professional industries.

LORICA is searching for an _Operations Coordinator _to join our team full-time in our facility in Chilliwack.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Operations Coordinator will be responsible for a number of logístical, operational, and administrative duties to maintain the accurate and consistent flow of goods to and from the business and helps maintain operational administrative efficiency of the facility.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Support the administration of numerus LORICA functions including maintaining the respective database within the LORICA ERP system,
  • Works with department leads to assesses business needs and works to support efficiencies and cost savings across the organization,
  • Supports departments by acquiring goods and/or services at the best possible value, at the predetermined quality and optimal quantity within a specified timeframe,
  • Seeks new suppliers to support LORICA operations as required,
  • Provides support to competitive documents and PO's are issued and followed up in a timely manner,
  • Is the first point of contact for phone calls and prospective messages and is able to gather the necessary information and route them to the proper department accordingly,
  • Logistical support including picking and packing finished goods, receiving goods, and booking shipments,
  • Supports Production Manager to ensure the necessary resources are available to production teams,
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as necessary in the performance of the position, as assigned by the Operations Manager, or as necessary.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:


  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree required.
  • Experience with databases and/or ERP software an asset.
  • Ability to meet and maintain strict quality standards and deadlines.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple assignments to meet deadlines and goals.
  • Team player able to interact in a positive, constructive manner with staff members on all levels within the company.

$40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
