Journeyman / Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technicians

Reporting to the Shop Manager, the Heavy Equipment Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and completing repairs on Victor Energy's heavy equipment, including Excavators, Digger Derrick Booms, Skid Steer, Drive Heads, Loaders, picker trucks, tracked carriers, semi trucks, automotive, and support equipment.

The ideal candidate must have the ability to troubleshoot major and minor mechanical problems, repair and adjust mechanical components, especially hydraulic systems.

Class 5 driver's license with acceptable abstract; Class 1 license preferred
Experience with off-road equipment, truck and transport equipment, automotive, and small engine equipment
Familiarity with computer diagnostic equipment (Cat ET, Cummins, Navistar, SIS 2.Overtime and outdoor work may be required
