McCain Foods (Canada) – Florenceville French Fry, is currently seeking a Mixer Deck Operator join our Florenceville team.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

Responsible for Mixer Deck area, production line cleanliness and other assigned areas as required
Responsible for timing and releasing batch
Will be required to be involved in plant sanitation, and clean-up shifts
To assist and break other operators as required
Participate in Team meetings as required
Keep accurate records e.g. ingredient usage, line settings, etc.
Responsible for the yearly completion of the Performance Excellence Program (PEP) training and evaluation
Complete core curriculum E-learning courses
Follow JHA's and work safely. Participate in STEP program (Behavioral safety observations)
All additional duties as they become assigned

Qualifications

Grade 12 or GED would be considered an asset
Must be able to work shifts on a rotating basis
Experience with packaging machinery desirable
Must be mechanically inclined and able to with stand heavy lifting (up to 40 lbs unassisted)
Must be able to work in a temperature varying environment
Must be able to work in a team atmosphere
Must have good decision making and trouble shooting skills
Must possess good communication skills and be able to record legible results
Must be able to understand and abide by H.A.C.C.P. regulations concerning sanitation.
Knowledge of computer operations an asset
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to accept and embrace change in the day to day operations
Successful completion of 90 day training period
Must be willing to cross-train on other equipment and areas

Compensation Package:

• Starting at 23.25 CAD hourly + Bonus eligibility + Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts

The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
