We are seeking positive and energetic Sander at our Manitou Drive facility.

Afternoon Shift - 3:30pm to 12:00am

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform minor repairs with glue or putty.
Follow priorities for sending rush order and ship dates.
Inspect cases, remove defects by sanding. Ensure case meets quality standards.
Advise team leader of quality problems.
Meet or exceed piecework standards.
Adhering to safe working procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by team leader, including drawer fitting and wash off, as required.
Perform all responsibilities/services in accordance with company Quality Assurance procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

Grade 12 education or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience.
Experience in hand sanding and using hand tools, (orbital sander and inliners, hot knife, iron, putty knife, nail punch).
Keen eye with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to meet physical requirements (continuous standing, eye strain, repetitive tasks/motions).
Able to wear respirators, PPEs as required throughout the duration of the shift.
Full skill set is required to obtain the full rate of the position.
