L'Etoile de Pacho is a support network of parents with children with special needs who combined their knowledge and experience to help other parents in similar situations. We offer personalized support services to help parents by sharing our experiences, resources, and journey.

We are looking for a hardworking, compassionate caregiver to provide home care to a 5-year-old boy with special needs.

Schedule:

Mostly on weekends
Friday 5 hour preferable in the afternoon
Saturday morning 5 hours
Sunday morning/noon 5 hours (Schedule to determine)

Tasks description:

Assist with daily living activities;
Assist with wheelchair transfers;
Assist with feeding;
Follow a previously established schedule;
Maintain a healthy, secure, and comfortable environment;
Use the adapted material for a different type of stimulation;
Provide hygiene care (changing diapers, bath, etc.);
Play with him.

Qualifications:

College diploma (DEC) in progress
1 to 6 months of experience in personal care or other related fields.
A high degree of tolerance, empathy, and patience.
Excellent opportunity for students in the following fields: Special care counseling, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and early childhood education.

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Salary:
$18.00 per hour
