Ottawa, On Canada

Hybrid: 3 days on-site

Term:
Full time, permanent

High Tech Genesis is looking for a Systems Specialist to provide the initial setup and configuration of a users' newly purchased video recorder and IP cameras.

You will be responsible to ensure the customer's equipment is configured as per the purchased solution's requirements.

Responsibilities:

Remotely configuring network settings for each recording device
Configuring camera naming and adjusting image settings
Setting up camera motion detection and other analytics features
Ensuring accurate time synchronization across devices
Establishing retention rates for recorded data
Creating and managing retention schedules and corresponding actions
Configuring alarm, audio, and relay actions as needed
Experience configuring CCTV, IP video solutions or other related hardware
Experience in the installation, maintenance, testing, configuring and integration of CCTV systems and devices
Good understanding of CCTV system operations and design

Desired skills:

CompTIA A+ and Network+ Certifications
