Job Title: Kitchen Helper – Protein Chefs

Location: Toronto, ON

Job Description

Protein Chefs is seeking a dependable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to support our production kitchen. This role plays a key part in daily meal prep operations focused on high-quality, protein-based meals. The ideal candidate is efficient, detail-oriented, and comfortable with both food prep and dishwashing duties in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, portioning, and packaging of meals
• Support chefs and kitchen staff during daily production
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas
• Ensure dishwashing stations and sinks are kept clean and sanitary
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times
• Help with general kitchen cleaning and end-of-shift cleanup
• Assist with basic inventory organization and other kitchen tasks as needed

Requirements

• Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience is an asset (not required)
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production kitchen
• Strong attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work scheduled days consistently
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude

Schedule & Hours

• 60–65 hours bi-weekly
• Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
• Day shifts only
