Description

Responsibilities:

Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and materials required for construction projects.
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.
Utilize construction estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to create comprehensive estimates.
Review and understand project contracts, terms, and conditions.
Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather relevant information.
Identify potential risks and opportunities that may impact project costs.
Present estimates to management and clients in a clear and professional manner.
Participate in bid meetings and negotiations with clients.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
Proficiency in project management principles and practices.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Excellent mathematical skills for accurate cost calculations.
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Detailoriented with a high level of accuracy in estimating costs.

Salary:
$25.00-$30.00 per hour
