This role sits within Laurentian Bank Securties, a subsidiary of Laurentian Bank.

Reporting to the department supervisor, the Mutual Fund Officer is responsible for checking daily transactions, importing electronic files, entering non-electronic transactions, monitoring account transfers, updating customer files, and conducting the monthly reconciliation of mutual fund positions.

The incumbent acts as a contact person with the various mutual fund companies and Fundserv and works closely with his/her immediate supervisor on various projects, in addition to supporting any other function within the department as needed.

Responsibilities:

o F2I:
file transfer

o Recording and monitoring electronic and manual transactions

o Monitoring transfers

o Confirming trailer fees

o Recording dividends in customer accounts

o Month-end reconciliation

o Daily reconciliation of control accounts

o Updating customer accounts at fund companies
