Acara Solutions is looking for Finance Manager Direct placement opportunity for our client located in Aurora, ON

Lead timely, accurate and complete submission of all financial data including annual budgets, quarterly forecasting and monthly financials; understanding and explaining variances to all levels of Management as well as advising on actions to achieve improved results
Work with Plant Operations teams to monitor and control expenses, develop and implement enhanced metrics, identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed
Work closely with Supply Chain team on product costings ensuring they have the necessary information to make the appropriate decision to ensure successful growth
Track, validate and report cost savings and value creation projects to drive continuous cost improvements
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual debt compliance certificates
Lead and facilitate the annual audit conducted by a Big 4 accounting firm
Ensure compliance with all Company, Accounting and Government Standards, Policies and Regulations.
Work with VP of Finance to evaluate and implement new accounting guidance
Build solid collaborative working relationships within Finance team and across the organization

Required Skills / Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
3 to 5 years of experience in a senior accounting or financial analyst capacity in a manufacturing environment
Experience with commercial contracts dealing with customer and supply transactions and agreements including review of contracts and agreements for proper accounting treatment
Experience with M&A evaluation and analysis, although not a prerequisite.
