    About the role

    • Are you a seasoned software engineer with a passion for innovation and a knack for problem-solving? Do you thrive in dynamic, business-focused environments where your ideas are not just heard but valued? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you
    • As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our founding team, working alongside talented individuals who share a passion for innovation and excellence. You will be responsible for architecting and developing robust components to seamlessly integrate financial technology products into our clients' platforms.

    What you'll do

    • Design and implement scalable and efficient component solutions using React/TS
    • Collaborate with the back-end team to ensure seamless integration with our backend API
    • Leverage AWS cloud infrastructure for optimal performance and scalability
    • Enforce strong testing practices, continuous delivery, and real-time feedback to drive product excellence
    • Take ownership of delivery, exploring innovative solutions, and problem-solving collaboratively with the team
    • "Wear multiple hats" throughout the software development lifecycle, working with product management and cross functional team members, validating effort and timelines, project and task management, security and compliance, monitoring

    Qualifications

    • Has spent the majority of their career working in the software industry
    • Experience scoping, building, shipping, and maintaining a complex application
    • Proven deep knowledge about the whole technology stack of a system
    • History of evolving architecture to support future requirements
    • Ability to mentor others to accelerate their career-growth
    • Improves team processes, listening to feedback and guiding the team through changes
    • Has made impact not only on their whole team but also on other teams and organizations
    • Frameworks/Libraries: React
    • Heavy focus on testing, continuous delivery, and real-time monitoring

    The pay range for this role is:

    150, ,000 CAD per year (Canada + Equity)
