Job Overview:
DeskWe are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Guest Service Supervisor.
As a Guest Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable, will contribute to the overall success of the hotels by leading and maintaining Guest Services standards for the front desk, by anticipating guest needs and providing friendly, efficient, and superior customer service during all guest interactions.
This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospitality environment.Job Duties:
- Supervises front desk operations and handles administrative duties such as, performing checkin and checkout of guests, handling guest concerns.
- Reviews daily arrivals list and checks VIP notes and other special guest requests Monitors the team quality of work.
- Register arriving guests, including groups and process checkouts.
- Maintain good communications with all departments.
- Complete cash summary and submission each shift.
- Address complaints and specific customer requests.
- Assisting front desk staff as needed with guest issues, discounts, front desk procedures etc.
- Be on call during designated times for front desk needs day and night.
- Arranging cover & working front desk shifts including night audits as necessary.
- Contribute to the overall hotel management as a member of the leadership team.
- Assist other departments as needed.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Minimum 23 years of experience in Hospitality, with at least 1 year in a supervisor capacity required.
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hospitality or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent communication (written, oral English and listening), and customer service skills
- Ability to lead and motivate others
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
- Thrives under pressure and deadlines
- Experience dealing with fastpaced customerservice environment
- Highly reliable and responsible
