Alight, a top tier player in the Workday eco-system, is looking for a seasoned Sales Executive As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions by driving sales of Workday deployment and optimization services.


The Sales Executive works collaboratively with an experienced team of Solutions and Delivery colleagues, driven by the desire to provide our current and future clients with the experiences and outcomes they seek.


Key Responsibilities
- **Achieve individual sales goal for Cloud deployment and optimization services, specifically, HCM & Payroll**:
  • Set and execute the sales strategy for assigned territory and lead the development of a sales plan targeting new clients
  • develops Sales Win and Deal close strategy
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the Workday Sales team to gain referrals and drive pipeline growth of new opportunities
  • Collect and communicate market intelligence on products/services and incorporate it into sales client planning process
  • Effectively utilize lead generation team and other sales support resources at the appropriate time in the selling process
  • Demonstrate strong sales strategy ability by crafting and presenting client offers and helping the team identify and navigate alternative paths to making the sale
  • Manage and maximize the client level cost of sale
  • Shapes the 'Alight' product solutions narrative
  • Alight's unique positioning and ability to deliver best in class solutions to clients
  • Identifies the customer need and the most suitable value propositions, potential product solutions, service fits, partner configurations, cost structures and revenue models for identified target markets
  • Provides input on pricing decisions striving to sell Alight's value at the highest possible profit margin

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience

Sales Skills
  • Exhibit excellent skills throughout all stages of a consultative selling process, including pipeline management, strong negotiation skills and the ability to close opportunities.

HCM Subject Matter Expertise and Functional Knowledge
  • Broad content knowledge of Human Capital Management, (HCM) payroll and financial delivery and solutions

Relationship Management
  • Demonstrates strong clientfacing skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and information and to respond promptly and effectively to all inquiries. Build strong relationships at multiple levels in a potential client company, including the Csuite, with the goal of becoming a trusted advisor to that organization while maintaining productive, internal relationships to leverage those resources when necessary.

Communication/Project Management
  • Ability to manage multiple, complex sales processes at the same time.

Team Leadership

  • Strives to be a role model for colleagues they work with closely in the organization and have an interest in the team's success.
  • 5+ years direct selling experience with demonstrated sales success with cloud software and/or solution architect experience in the Cloud solutions
  • Experience running large, complex sales processes into organizations with over 5,000 employees
  • Workday deployment and optimization sales experience is preferred
  • Up to 25% travel is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
