Location:
nd Ave, Surrey (soon moving to Port Kells area)


Responsibilities:


  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
  • Maintain financial records, including general ledger accounts.
  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements and reports on a monthly and yearend basis.
  • Reconcile bank statements monthly.
  • Ensure the preparation and filing of required government forms.
  • Manage payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing invoices and reconciling payments.
  • Conduct regular account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
  • Monitor financial data, identifying trends, and providing recommendations for improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide financial analysis and support to senior management for decisionmaking.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support strategic goals.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA certification is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Payroll experience.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online.
  • Experience with Broadlume software is an asset.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting and financial forecasting.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to nonfinancial stakeholders.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.

Salary:
$80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
