    Description

    The hired individual will oversee the accounts payable functions for the organization. Reporting directly to the Finance Director for Canada, this role will necessitate regular interaction with the executive team and the entire staff.

    We are seeking a detail-oriented clerk to handle the following responsibilities:

    • Analyze transactions and rectify discrepancies
    • Process payments in adherence to specified terms
    • Engage in communication with suppliers
    • Calculate accrued income at month-end
    • Complete credit references requested by suppliers of our clients
    • Manage customer credit evaluations
    • Conduct account analyses and accruals
    • Oversee credit card operations
    • Execute any other duties as assigned by the manager to ensure effective accounts payable management

    Our ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications:

    • Bilingual proficiency
    • Proficiency in Office 365, particularly Excel
    • Comfortable working in a multi-currency environment
    • Familiarity with relevant sales tax regulations
    • Strong ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
    • Thrives in high-pressure environments and can meet deadlines
    • Demonstrates a commitment to ongoing enhancement and the creation of new work tools

    • Ability to work swiftly (particularly with a high volume of transactions)

    • Strong written communication skills in French/English (due to frequent email correspondence with customers in Quebec, Canada, the USA, and other global locations)
