    About us:
    The Enterprise Applications and Solutions Integration (EASI) department in the Chief Information Officer's (CIO) Division focuses on the development, maintenance, and effectiveness of core administrative management and student systems at U of T. This includes central SAP systems like Financial Services, Human Resources, Research Administration, and Procurement, along with the U of T Student System (ROSI), around 40 related vendor and specialized web applications, and central Business Intelligence and Document Management applications.

    Your opportunity:
    As part of a dynamic, collaborative, and innovative team led by the Executive Director, Enterprise Applications & Solutions Integration, you will contribute to delivering transformational technology solutions to the University, enhancing administrative management and student systems.

    Your responsibilities will include:


    • Participating in complex code reviews to identify areas for efficiency and provide feedback
    • Evaluating programming code for validity, compatibility, and adherence to standards
    • Commenting on programming code for standardization and consistency
    • Analyzing, recommending, and designing technical solutions for complex IT problems
    • Designing and implementing systems for SAP Concur's cloud services and customer communication
    • Developing ABAP solutions based on design document requirements, including workflow and PI / CPI for interfaces
    • Configuring the SAP Concur system to meet U of T's specific needs and providing ongoing maintenance
    • Collaborating with project teams and IT delivery teams to understand functional requirements and implement changes/enhancements with ABAP technology

    Essential Qualifications:


    • Bachelor's Degree or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Technical, Business, or Information Systems
    • Certifications in SAP, ABAP, S4 Hana
    • Minimum 5 years of hands-on ABAP development experience in SAP
    • Experience with SAP Concur / S4 Hana / FI / CO
    • Excellent communication and written skills, ability to collaborate effectively
    • Knowledge of the Concur platform and ability to configure and customize for organizational needs
    • Ability to create ABAP solutions based on design requirements, including workflow and PI/ CPI
    • Effective communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders
    • Ability to work well both independently and in teams, meeting timelines
    • Effective technical writing and documentation interpretation
    • Ability to analyze existing ABAP code for improvements
    • Strong technical skills in SAP Integration technologies like SAP PI/PO, SAP Cloud Platform Integration, SAP API Management
    • Configuration and maintenance of SAP Concur application

    Assets (Nonessential):


    • Previous exposure/experience with SAP Fiori
    • Familiarity with integration patterns and best practices for communication implementation
