About the Opportunity:

Property Maintenance Coordinator to oversee the maintenance, operations, and general handyman tasks of locations across organization's Residential Services, enVision Possibilities, Kindale Industries, Eastman Employment Services, and administrative offices portfolio.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background of Highschool/GED Highschool. Trades certificate related to Facilities Operations will be considered an asset.
  • 2 years working experience in skills trades
  • Knowledge and skills to perform small home renovations is considered an asset, with the ability to perform small repairs (e.g. caulking, replacing washers, and replacing light fixtures). Highly motivated and able to work independently
  • Project Management and Vendor Management Skillset
  • Knowledge in Occupational, Safety, Health & Risk Management
  • Strong communication and problemsolving skills, while demonstrating excellent time management and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Database Platform.
  • Experience working or volunteering in Human Services is an asset
  • Valid Manitoba Class 5F license and access to vehicle required
  • Clear Adult & Child Abuse Registry and satisfactory Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector. Document will be considered current if obtained no more than 3 months prior to start of employment
  • Proof of COVID19 Vaccination

Additional Information

  • Hours of Work: 70 hours biweekly, oncall from Friday 7:00pmMonday 7:00am
  • Location: Steinbach, Manitoba. The role is also expected to visit locations within Steinbach, Niverville, Ste. Anne, and La Broquerie.
