5 + years of Progress ABL experience Primary skill
Experience with.

NET technology for.
NET/Javascript development

Aptitude to learn programming languages quickly.
Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and multitasking skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively with others and independently.
A selfmotivated, organized, and reliable individual, with the ability to produce quality work in a timely manner.

Specialized Skills And Knowledge

Designing efficient and complex Microsoft SQL queries
OpenEdge ABL experience.
C#, ASP.NET/Javascript, HTML and internet standards, XML, and other modern technologies

Education And Work Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or a related area with an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Location - Toronto, Canada (preferred)

The Progress OpenEdge ABL Application Developer is a talented, self-directed, and self-motivated individual with strong technical skills and demonstrated verbal and written skills.

Responsibilities:

The OpenEdge ABL Application Developer concentrates on our client's solution with responsibilities that include:

Enhance and extend existing OpenEdge ABL programs to increase operating efficiency, enhance the customer experience, and adapt to new requirements as required.
Determine resolutions to identified customer software issues and QA bugs.
Follow existing coding standards and development best practices.
Analyze program specifications for logic and conformance to written specifications and standards.
Work with deadlines in relation to product release timelines
Other duties as assigned by management.
