This position is for you

As a student IT technician, you will contribute directly to the improvement of the employee experience at iA Group as part of the IT Hardware Solutions department.

The user environment technologies supported by the IT Hardware Solutions team include computers and peripherals, printers, video conferencing rooms and cell phones.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist other technicians in the operations of the IT user environment in the iA offices (100% facetoface)
Perform activities related to the life cycle of IT equipment solutions (assembly, installation, configuration) throughout their life cycle from acquisition to disposal;
Ensure that IT equipment inventory is maintained at a minimum level to ensure continuity of delivery operations
Assist the Warehouse Manager with daytoday tasks (Receive deliveries, perform initial validation of products received
Prepare and ship IT equipment orders in a timely and quality manner to ensure the desired user experience
Participate in the management of supplies (receiving and storing equipment and maintaining the storage and assembly room in good condition)
Maintain and update tickets, taking care to record exchanges and improve the documentation and knowledge base
Respond to requests for local assistance from users of the information technologies under his/her responsibility
Participate in the sorting, cleaning, testing and filing of IT equipment returned by partners and by the various warehouses following an IT equipment return process
Carry out handling, installation and configuration activities of the company's workstations and mobiles and ensure the updating of the data and documentation in place;
Provide daily assistance in the team's controls and maintenance
Provide technical support for incidents related to IT equipment solutions and assisting users in getting equipment back up and running.
Assist users, gather feedback and provide relevant advice on best practices for the use of tools and technologies.
Perform diagnostics, maintain the relationship with the requestor by ensuring regular followup and make every effort to bring the issue to a conclusion without escalation
Contribute concretely to the exchange of technical knowledge and continuous improvement within the team
Consult or involve the appropriate IT teams in order to obtain the essential answers to resolve problems or incidents and escalate as needed according to established procedures

Good planning and prioritization skills
Passion for user environment technology
Must be able to travel on site for work
Demonstrate curiosity and willingness to learn new things
Demonstrate leadership, autonomy, adaptability to different contexts, structure and organization
Good ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to define targets and consensus

Have worked in a large organization
Bilingualism (Good level of French, both oral and written)
