What You'll Do;


As a Merchandising Analyst, you will support the business by assisting the Buyer in product management and coordination within our Golf Town stores.

You will manage and distribute inventories to all stores, working cross-functionally to ensure that the right products are delivered to the right store at the right time and quantity to increase profitable sales, maximize inventory productivity, and balance inventory levels by SKU and store.


  • Manage data entry, maintenance and report creation on the SKU level within the category for shipping, markdowns and sellthroughs while maintaining daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly checklists.
  • Own the purchase order process from creation to uploading, information changes, item cancellations/reinstatement, confirmation, and pricing.
  • Be responsible for replenishment of inventory, SKU maintenance and allocation/core, including inventory balancing regularly and in preparation for promotions and seasonal requirements, and allocate inventory in advance to ensure inventory is in stock to support sales.
  • Create sales, margin, and inventory reports by analyzing data to support category initiatives at the store level.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships externally with vendors and internally with crossfunctional teams, ensuring the Buyer is supported with ad hoc initiatives.

What You'll Bring;

  • Passion for all things golf with an understanding of golf apparel/footwear/soft goods/ hard goods.
  • Postsecondary education (University preferred) in retail, marketing, or finance.
  • Experience in retail planning, buying, or merchandising in data entry and data management with knowledge of inventory management, merchandising concepts, operations and systems (Oracle).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient Excel Skills and strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, PowerPoint.
