What you'll do:

Field Service Representative Internship (4-month) - Calgary, AB, Canada
Eaton has an opening for Internship: Field Service Representative position for 4 months. This position is in Calgary, AB.

Primary Function:

This position is responsible for working with the Electrical Engineering Service & Systems group to provide on-site engineering and technical assistance in areas of electrical equipment maintenance, new equipment commissioning, custom electrical equipment modification, wiring, controls, drives and breakers for both Ottawa location.

Essential Functions:

Assist Field Service personnel in a wide variety of electrical work.
Assist in creating detailed and quality reports to customers covering the scope of work performed.
Follow required safety practices.
Manage paperwork and office procedures, as required.
Perform all work at a high level.
Be willing and available to work evenings and weekends, as required by our customers.
Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton's Philosophy and Values, as well as Safety and Environmental standards.
Perform other duties, as required.

Basic Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering Degree program or Electrical Engineering Technology Diploma program or Internship Program; or Technician/Technologists.
This position does not offer relocation.
Valid driver's license required.
Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

years of experience in manufacturing electrical controls and/or power distribution products.

Good organizational and time management skills.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office).
Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
Mechanical aptitude.
Good attitude and work ethic.
