    Summary:


    As a key member of GFL's dynamic team, the Field Supervisor will be relied upon to ensure that GFL's culture of safety and professionalism is heavily present on site.

    The successful candidate will possess thorough knowledge of the mining or industrial sector to lead a team within the Vacuum Truck and Industrial Services division.

    Responsible for overseeing daily operations, the chosen individual will professionally represent GFL and will be the first point of contact on client sites, fostering professional business relationships and consistently looking for ways to expand services provided.


    Job Duties:
    Manage CVI's and help maintain and repair trucks to ensure safe operation.

    Oversee inventory of all vac components and tools.

    Dispatch and schedule vac trucks daily.

    On-call for emergency situations (rotating every 3 weeks).

    Operate vac truck as needed to help support team.

    Conduct site inspections to identify opportunities for enhanced or expanded site services.

    Manage client relationships.

    Coordinate and schedule all required safety training and ensure certifications are valid and up to date.

    Oversee work performed for safety and quality excellence.

    Lead the site-based teams to consistently exceed customer service expectations.

    Manage paperwork and safety forms as required.

    Coach and mentor Operators and Assistant Operators and engage in corrective discussions.

    Promote and lead GFL's safety programs by conducting safety meetings, safe work plans and job hazard assessments.

    Other duties as assigned.


    Requirements:
    Valid Class 3A Driver's License with and a clean driver's abstract.

    Industrial vacuum truck and hydro-excavating experience is required.

    Experience coaching and mentoring a high performing team.

    Knowledge of industrial sector
