This position will be primarily located at our Head Office in Cambridge, however there is some travel involved.

Your day to day activities will include: Manage all aspects of Bulk logistics throughout supply chain in a Just in Time environment such as:
Scheduling bulk deliveries daily, addressing and resolving shipment and bulk inventory issues and product returns.

Collaborate with other internal and external departments and work within tight deadlines set by Customer Service and the Flour Mills.

Arrange truck and trailer drop offs for repairs, maintenance and internal washes.
Deal with after-hours calls on a 24/7 basis for any delivery related issues and changes.
Payroll activities for all drivers.
Carry out various administrative components related to freight such as detention charges, BOL's to invoicing department.
Work directly with Drivers relating to their concerns, holiday requests, sick time, WSIB claims and driver disciplinary action when required

Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain
High school diploma/GED required.
Degree in logistics or related field preferred.
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, and high proficiency in Excel)
Ability to use and navigate Logistics routing software.
Working knowledge of legal regulations, Ontario Highway Traffic act and hours of service requirements.
Experience with the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) considered an asset.
Ability to independently handle multiple projects.
High level of analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, negotiating and customer service skills.
