The
Parts Support Specialist Industrial plays an integral Support role in the Industrial branches.

Parts Support Specialist Industrial must effectively manage their Industrial Stock and Lines of Parts to provide solutions to customer and branch challenges and opportunities, giving prompt and courteous service on every customer, vendor and branch interaction.


Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:


  • Safety is your responsibility.
  • Interact with branch staff as one of the safety champions.
  • Provide best in class customer service to internal and external partners.
  • Support Aggregate Branches, Parts, Service and Sales employees on daytoday Aggregate Parts Opportunities.
  • Support CVIP and Truck Repair Branches, Parts, Service and Sales employees on daytoday truck and trailer Parts Opportunities.
  • Support Branches, Parts, Service and Sales employees on daytoday Industrial Lines Parts Opportunities, Stock Levels, Pricing, Lookup, and supersessions.
  • Analyze data to monitor performance and plan improvements, including monthly reviews of Industrial Lines.
  • Maintain the selfselection display and ensure seasonal parts and merchandise are properly displayed and promoted for the Industrial Lines.
  • Adhere to Parts company guidelines regarding Marketing initiatives for the Industrial Lines.
  • Monitor external factors to strategically prepare for and respond to customer needs in the local Industrial market. This includes Aggregate, Industrial and Truck Parts (others as identified) Vendors, Pricing, Vendor agreements, stock levels etc. within Aggregate, Industrial and CVIP branches.
  • Effective and regular communication while creating professional relationships with Metso / OEM counter parts for effective and timely parts resolutions.
  • Develop business by gaining new contracts, analyzing problems, and producing new solutions, while support Industrial line employees.
  • Maintain Customer and Equipment Info in CDK.
  • Create and maintain Customer and Sales Opportunity Spare parts quotes.
  • Own and direct Kenect Branch responses from an Industrial Parts perspective.
  • Create and ensure set productivity targets are met by motivating, organizing, and encouraging teamwork.
  • Provide input for corporate reports and forecasts for Industrial branches reporting as necessary.
  • Metso and Aggregate Parts Subject Matter export.
  • Employee must adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety Standards must be met
  • RME is committed to the protection and wellness of its employees.

  • Work with shipping companies and branches to streamline shipping challenges.

Job Requirements and Qualifications Include:


  • High school diploma.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Journeyperson Parts Certification
  • Aggregates Parts and Operational Experience.
  • Trucking Industry Parts and Operational Experience in fastpaced parts department.
  • Basic understanding of aggregate and trucking equipment and processes.
  • Basic understanding of crushing and screening processes and equipment.
  • Sound understanding of basic mathematical processes and ability to mentally determine mathematical solutions to problems.
  • Knowledge of A/R Liabilities, Parts Pricing & Matrix, inventory valuation, piece ranking reports, loss sales reports, asset turnover and inventory control.
