We're looking for an electromechanic to support our Montreal/Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville location.

Canfab is relocating from Montreal to Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville on the South Shore in the spring of 2023.

If you are a local South Shore resident, this is a fantastic opportunity to work close to home at a completely new, spacious, and modern facility.

You'd start the job at our Montreal plant, but it would then relocate to Saint-Bruno.


What you'd do:


You'd play a crucial role in keeping production running smoothly by performing repairs and preventative maintenance on our equipment and machinery.


What that really means:


  • Troubleshooting AC/DC motors, controls, PLC, electrical drives, highvoltage systems.
  • Servicing the electrical and mechanical aspect of pumps, motors, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and high speed can production equipment.
  • Performing preventive and predictive maintenance on machinery and control systems.
  • Performing regular inspections of machinery to identify abnormalities or potential issues.
  • Performing equipment restoration and installation.
  • Balancing loads and wiring complex circuits.
  • Working with related diagnostic equipment including digital voltmeter.
  • Maintaining records of work performed, details of repairs, and materials usage.
  • Interpreting schematics and blueprints.
  • Operating mobile equipment to lift and transport materials, including manlifts, scissor jacks, and forklifts.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work area.
  • Keeping tools, and equipment in clean and orderly condition.

What skills and education you need:

  • Bilingualism, preferably.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to work as part of a selfdirected team.
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills
  • The ability to comfortably lift up to 20 kilograms / 45 pounds.
  • Physical fitness: you'd need to be able to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during long shifts.

Canfab déménage de Montréal à Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville sur la Rive-Sud au printemps 2023.

Si vous êtes un résident local de la Rive-Sud, il s'agit d'une occasion fantastique de travailler près de chez vous dans une installation entièrement nouvelle, spacieuse et moderne.

Vous commencerez le travail à notre usine de Montréal, mais elle sera ensuite relocalisée à Saint-Bruno.


Ce que vous feriez:


Vous jouerez un rôle crucial dans le bon déroulement de la production en effectuant des réparations et un entretien préventif de notre équipement et de nos machines.


Ce que cela signifie vraiment:


  • Dépanner les moteurs AC/DC, les commandes, les PLC, les entraînements électriques, les systèmes haute tension.
  • L'entretien de l'aspect électrique et mécanique des pompes, des moteurs, des systèmes hydrauliques/pneumatiques et des équipements de production de boîtes de conserve à grande vitesse.
