Senior-Level Camera Layout/Previs Artist - CULVERCITY, Canada - Blur

Description

Blur Studio's Layout Department offers an unusual combination of camera and previs work which requires that artists have a high level of skill in both areas as well as a strong directorial eye.

We are seeking highly experienced senior layout artists who are talented in creating cameras and who have cinematic experience designing shots and interpreting visual stories through storyboards.

Our Layout artists have the skill of a great animator in terms of timing, a cinematographer's eye for camera framing and motion, and can mix mocap cleanly.

Their final work is not blocking, but rather polished finish-quality work.
Applicants with supervision experience and a working knowledge of Motion Builder are preferred. All team members must have solid communication skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team.
