Description

As the successful applicant you will:

  • Previous Service Manager and/or Service Advisor and/or Automotive Service Technician experience
  • Be a leader
  • Have superior customer service skills
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be extremely organized
  • Pay close attention to detail
  • Have effective problem solving and mediation skills

In this exciting role, you will:

  • Create goals and objectives for the team based on forecasts
  • Monitor financial statements
  • Come up with action plans to increase business
  • Ensure that the department meets all customer satisfaction and financial goals
  • Organize and facilitate training
  • Ensure manufacturer training courses are completed by employees
  • Ensure warranty claims are processed and forwarded to the manufacturer
  • Ensure all OH&S regulations are being followed
  • Open and close work orders
  • Communicate with service customers to determine the nature of the mechanical problems
  • Secure agreement from customers before repairs; cover cost estimate; and approximate time when vehicle's work will be completed
  • Handle telephone inquiries regarding work in process and appointments and return phone messages promptly
  • Review work performed, answer any questions and explain charges and coverage

Experience:

Service Advisor: 5 years (preferred)
Service Manager: 3 years (preferred)
