About Us
The Commercial and Controlled Goods Administrator delivers both the day-to-day operational and analytic support to the Commercial and Supply Chain teams.
The role works to efficiently administer export documentation, provide detailed analytics to key department operations and support to overall department objectives.
Main ResponsibilitiesEXPORT ADMINISTRATION
- Support and act as alternate for security clearances and visitor requests in accordance with Government of Canada requirements, which may include certain responsibilities as a Alternate Company Security Officer (as defined under the Canadian Contract Security program);
- Participation in aspects of audit preparation and conduct; and
- Continuously improve and contribution to security and controlled goods policies, procedures, workflows and tools.
COMMERCIAL CONTRACT MANAGENENT AND ANALYTICS
- Review, draft, negotiate, process and administration of contracts (such as, but not limited to, nondisclosure agreements, customer purchase orders, TAA, EUS/EUC, etc.);
- Collection of key data and metrics to develop meaningful insights and reports into the Commercial and Supply Chain team activities with actions to address any areas of concern;
- Monitoring of key data and metrics to ensure appropriate actions are taken, targets are being met and escalating as necessary; and
- Internal reporting on key performance indicators and compliance.
- Develop internal relationships across the organization to understand operational objectives;
- Support department managers and team to achieve objectives and continuous improvement goals;
- Other duties as required.
- Relevant education, or equivalent combination of industry experience;
- Knowledge of or interest in Canadian security and controlled goods regulations, familiarity or expertise with international security and controlled goods regimes considered an asset (USA ITAR / EAR / OFAC, Germany, UK) considered an asset;
- Excellence administrative record keeping and detail orientated;
- Ability to work independently on tasks and selfprioritize;
- Ability to develop cooperative relationships and deliver concise and effective communication;
- Ability to work in an environment of change with a mindset of continuous improvement in the absence of defined roles and organizational structures; and
- Must be eligible to obtain security clearance and Designated Official and Alternate Company Security Officer appointments.
