Job summary
The Ward Clerk will perform general clerical duties by preparing compiling and maintaining records under the general supervision of the Resident Care Co-ordinator or Co-ordinator of Volunteerism and Recruitment.Responsibilities
- Maintain residents' charts and records on a current basis in an orderly fashion.
- Maintain the computerized resident care system including generating and providing required reports.
- Answer telephone inquiries from residents families visitors provide confidential clerical services record keeping for Manager of Resident Care Reside nt Care Co ordinators regarding human resources labour relations arrange annual team conferences resident appointments transportation facilitate laboratory services liaise with sections to transfer appropriate information order receive goods organize inventory place High Intensity Needs orders weekly complete Notification forms submit Ministry Health Long Term Care reimbursement prepare month end reports distribute inform assist booking appointments contracted service providers maintain Resident Manual other Manuals directed develop thorough working knowledge Safety Manual Provincial Legislation review related duties required.
