Description

We are looking for a self-starter with good time management skills, creativity and at least 3 years of experience working as a cook, to join us for the 2023 snowmobile season.


Requirements include excellent knowledge of cooking in a roadhouse type environment; good costing and the ability to work on your own, as well as with others.

Safe Food Handling Certificate required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Meal prep, cooking and clean up
  • Kitchen staff direction
  • Monitor stock
  • Maintaining restaurant cleanliness (assisted by other staff)
  • Other duties as assigned
9-5 daytime shifts, Tuesday Wednesday off each week with possibility of extra hours.

Location is not on a bus route so you will need your own transportation.


Job Types:
Full-time, Seasonal

Contract length: 2-3 months


Salary:
$20.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Every Weekend

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • REDBRIDGE, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
