The Jodrey School of Computer Science offers a four-year Bachelor of Computer Science degree and a four
- year Bachelor of Applied Computer Science degree, as well as a two-year Master's of Science degree. The
Jodrey School of Computer Science values community engagement and collaboration. The School has an active
AI and machine learning research group and leads the Acadia Institute of Data Analytics (AIDA) that works
closely with local companies to foster the commercialization of data science solutions. To increase interest and
diversify participation in Computer Science, the School annually provides 400+ middle and high school youth
opportunities to expand their computer science knowledge by competing in annual robot programming
competitions through the Acadia Robotics Program. Computer science students have participated in Acadia's
co-operative education program for the past 40 years, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels, with
students earning nationwide placements. Acadia University has a global community of faculty and students, from
across Canada and the world with current student enrolment from over 50 countries.
