We are looking for an Office Assistant/Accounting Data entry clerk to join our team at our Burnaby location. The position is responsible for receiving, acknowledging, and processing all customer orders. The position will also be responsible for handling queries from both customers and manufacturers.

Responsibilities:


  • Ensure internal and external sales orders are entered promptly and accurately
  • Respond respectfully, courteously, and immediately to any problems or concerns brought forward by internal and external customers
  • Investigate shortages and overages
  • Arrange sample requests
  • Reception back up
  • Assists accounting with administrative and clerical tasks (accounts payable/receivable)
  • Process invoices, expenses
  • Assist with reaching out to AR customers for collection
  • Reconcile payments received
  • Provide backup coverage for accounting

Job Requirements:


  • Able to work 8:00 am 4:30 pm Monday to Friday in the Burnaby office
  • Minimum 2 years in an office environment accompanied with customer service and order entry experience
  • Advanced working knowledget of Microsoft Office products (excel, Office, word)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Excellent decision making and problemsolving capabilities with the ability to efficiently organize your work and set priorities
  • Work well within a close team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a high degree of reliability, commitment, tenacity, teamwork and positive attitude to achieve success
  • Computer and data entry skills
This full time position offers medical, dental, and extended health benefits after a successful 3-month probation period.


Salary:
$35,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
