About the Role:


Draganfly is searching for an HR Business Partner to elevate the employee experience and align our HR initiatives with business objectives to drive results.

The HR Business Partner, will be the hub for all things people and culture and thrives on managing competing priorities while maintaining a positive and rewarding work environment.


Your Responsibilities:


  • In partnership with the HR team, develop people strategies and design approaches for evaluating gaps and enhancing organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
  • Partner with the leadership team to develop and implement effective HR programs, practices, and policies that will support the strategic growth of the business.
  • Offer thought leadership regarding organizational and peoplerelated strategy and execution.
  • Provide timely information and/or education for all levels of the company on HR issues.
  • Educate, coach, and partner with leaders on performance management and employee development goals.
  • Facilitate learning and development programs for employees of various levels as required to achieve continuous improvement objectives.
  • Provide HR expertise in the areas of feedback, employee relations, development and coaching, compensation, and organizational development.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to champion and accelerate a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired to deliver top business results.
  • Promote a culture of employee engagement, focusing on diversity and inclusion to ensure a healthy workplace where all team members consistently experience a sense of belonging.
  • Help build a culture of trust by fostering effective communication between functional & geographically diverse departments
  • Plan and execute seasonal events considering budgets, vendor management, event objectives, supplies & swag orders, and more.
  • Build and maintain relationships between the various stakeholders and the Human Resources Department to create awareness and understanding of the corporate culture and Human Resources strategies.
  • Continuously evaluate and identify innovative ways to streamline and enhance service delivery to maximize the employee experience.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a relevant field
  • Knowledge of Employment Standards Legislation and safe workplace best practices
  • Previous experience using HRIS.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Located in Burnaby or Saskatoon
  • Ability to travel within North America to attend events, visit work sites and other business needs as required up to six times per year
