Who We Are Looking For:
Main Job Responsibilities included but not limited to
- Ensure accurate invoicing of customs brokerage invoices, eManifest, Remanifest, Bonds, ACE/ACI's and miscellaneous billing on a timely basis
- Review and process cash collections on a timely basis
- Manage, review and monitor the accounts receivable and follow up with customer regarding payments and/or additional information that may be required to obtain payment.
- Responsible for G/L subledger reconciliations.
- Daily monitoring of Canada Customs Interactions ARL downloads (GST, duty, penalties, and miscellaneous items)
- Issue GST selfdirect ARL statements and follow up with payment
- Prepare monthly journal entries
- Assist with month end tasks and adhoc reconciliations
- Vacation relief back up for Accounts Payable (cheques and wire payments)
- Monthly review of data integrity reports
- Monitor client credit limits, access customer credit risk and make necessary modifications
- Must have a minimum 2 years accounting experience
- Good understanding of accounting procedures including balance sheet and income statement entries
- Familiarity with SAP R3, including G/L, A/R systems and Descartes ITMR4 ZOC (brokerage system)
- Previous customer service experience required
- Very strong customer service focus
- Sense of urgency and accountability
- Demonstrate strong organizational and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrate ability to solve problems and identify solutions
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external clients.
- Excellent computer skills; advanced knowledge of Word, Outlook, Nuance and Excel
- Proficient in Excel familiarity with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Able to pass preemployment Criminal Background Check.

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

- Monday to Friday
