About the Firm:

Located in North York, Kazandji Law, a respected criminal law firm, is undergoing expansion.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Criminal Lawyer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our growing Criminal Law practice.

Qualifications:

2 to 3 years of experience in Criminal Law.
Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
Proficiency in legal software such as Clio and experience with Word and Outlook is preferred.

What We're Looking For:

A lawyer at a Junior to Intermediate level.
A professional with a keen interest in Criminal Law.
Strong attention to detail, a solid work ethic, and exceptional written and oral communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Independently manage case files.
Draft and review a variety of legal documents including correspondence, pleadings, pretrial briefs, and affidavits.
Professional interaction and consultation with clients.
Conduct examinations, mediations, motions, and other court procedures.
Demonstrate thorough understanding and expertise in matters related to criminal defense, including charges, trials, and pleas.
Frequent appearances before the Court of Justice and Superior Court.
