QA Automation Lead (Remote)

Job Summary:

GTreasury is looking for a QA Automation Lead to join our high growth, global Quality Assurance team.

As a QA Automation Lead, you will conduct Quality Assurance practices and procedures while assuring company standards are maintained and product integrity is preserved.

The Automation Lead will work with Product and Development Teams to implement automated tests and develop and execute processes for defect tracking and resolution.


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for defining QA automation strategy, approach, and execution
  • Serve as a QA lead and work with various teams to increase the QA impact on the end products.
  • Work collaboratively with development, QA and product teams to identify test cases and suites best suited for automation.
  • Create testing and automation strategies and approaches in alignment with overall organizational goals.
  • Implement automated solutions that integrate into the CI/CD pipelines
  • Create and execute performance tests
  • Think strategically to help drive features and services for short and longterm growth.
  • Provide team oversight during the full software development life cycle, from conception, design, implementation and testing to documentation, delivery and maintenance.
  • Responsible for isolation and resolution, as well as validation of issues / bugs and client specific enhancements.
  • Initiate tests, analyze results, and find solutions to technical and process driven issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management

Knowledge & Previous Experience:


  • 8+ years of experience as a test engineer with focus on both manual and automated testing
  • 5+ years of experience implementing and leading automated testing across large, complex systems in an agile SaaS environment
  • 5+ years' experience testing Microsoft.

NET/C#

  • 5+ years/ of designing, creating, and maintaining automated tests
  • 3+ years' experience to create and execute performance tests using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner or similar
  • Proficient in implementing test cases with C#, SQL Gherkin, JSON and XML, Java, JavaScript
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Object-Oriented concepts
  • Experience working with database access objects in.

NET

  • Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress or similar
  • Solid knowledge of Unit test frameworks (NUnit, MSTest or similar)
  • Experience with bug tracking software (Azure DevOps, JIRA, UTF or similar)
  • Experience with version control management systems (Azure DevOps, GIT, SVN or similar)
  • Experience with API testing
  • Experience testing Azure components: Azure Function, App Service, Service Bus, Azure SQL

  • Skills to communicate effectively crossfunctionally across various teams, and internal and external stakeholders to drive testing effort
  • Proven organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills and proven success working directly with clients.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills are needed to identify programming errors or inconsistencies
  • Flexible and willing to participate and collaborate with colleagues in different time zones.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Willingness to accept responsibilities outside the specifically defined role

Education Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, or equivalent experience. Business background a plus.
