Description

Role:

To ensure product compliance with internal policies, GMP, and local and Federal Food Regulations (CFIA / HACCP).
Deliver customer orders on time.
Perform pre-trip inspections and complete necessary paperwork for the truck.
Report any truck issues to Management promptly.
Check and count customer orders during loading.
Ensure accuracy during delivery.
Obtain customer signatures on all invoices.
Keep management updated on any delays.

Requirements:

Knowledge of temperature controlled products.
Class - 1 driver's license with air endorsement.
Good math and writing skills.
Fluency in English.
Minimum 20 years of age.
Power jack operators certificate (preferred).
Current food safe certificate (an asset).
Level 1 first aid certification (an asset).
Manual dexterity for equipment operation.
Heavy lifting involved.
Two years of commercial driving experience.
Clean commercial drivers abstract for 3 years.

Working Conditions:

Exposure to wet/cold conditions.
Excessive noise exposure.
Challenging driving conditions in inclement weather.
Physically demanding tasks.
Constant heavy lifting.
