Registered Veterinary Technician
to join our dedicated pet health care team in the
Ophthalmology Department.

Join us in providing state of the art veterinary care in our brand new 20,000 sq. Ft. facility.

This hospital is well equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, CT and MRI imaging, radiation therapy, an on-site diagnostic laboratory, and advanced monitoring equipment.

As the first large Veterinary Referral Hospital on Vancouver Island, this is an amazing opportunity to be an integral part of creating the principal center for veterinary care in Victoria and Vancouver Island in general.


Currently, our team includes 24-hour emergency and critical care, as well as specialists in Dermatology, Oncology, Diagnostic Imaging, Neurology, and Rehabilitation.

This summer we welcome Surgery with Internal Medicine joining us in September.

As we grow our hospital and team, we strive to provide an exceptional service to our clients, referring veterinarians and our community.


  • Assisting with appointments,
  • Client communications,
  • Computer work; data entry, scheduling,
  • Routine technical skills: venipuncture, IV catheter placement, running anesthesia during ophthalmic procedures, animal restraint, filling prescriptions.
  • Applicants should be proficient in anesthetizing patients and knowledge of ventilator use is an asset, although training will be provided
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues and pet parents
  • Passion to learn more within the role
