Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Consult blueprints, designs, and client instructions to develop construction plans.
  • Coordinating Suppliers & Delivery Schedules.
  • Provide updates regarding progress, cost, change orders, RFI's, workload and material requirements.
  • Document all costs and ensure that expenses never exceed the construction budget.
  • Direct involvement and construction representation for the duration of projects.
  • Preparation of RFI's, quotations, proposals, claims and related correspondence and issue resolution.
  • Assist in developing best construction practices and implementing onsite.
  • Communicating and negotiating directly with clients and designers on a daily basis.
  • Preparation of master and detailed schedules.
  • Responsible for delivering projects on schedule and on budget.
  • Update clients on construction progress through presentations and client meetings.
  • Other duties as requested.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Minimum 5 years Canadian construction experience.
  • Post-Secondary Education in a related discipline.
  • Expert communication skills that include active listening, the ability to have difficult conversations, precise writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of tendering process, contracts, drawings and construction practices preferred.
  • Strong work ethic with an attention to detail.
  • Action oriented individual with a natural drive towards results.
  • Access to own vehicle and a good driving record is required.
  • Estimating and quantity takeoff experience.

Salary:
$85,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
