The Opportunity:


The Global ERP COE Operations Lead is responsible for the management and optimization of the WSP Oracle Cloud solution operational activities.

Working in close collaboration with external providers and internal stakeholders, the COE Operations Lead will play a central role in ensuring the ERP systems are operating effectively across all the deployed services and regions - covering operational services related to L1 support, incident management, access service request, patch management, environment management, etc.

The Operations Lead will oversee the regular releases into the production environment to ensure stability of the operational environment.


WSP is recruiting this role in the context of the 1st deployment of the new global Oracle Cloud ERP solution deployment.

It is a great opportunity to shape the operational support services for this new global business service in the areas of Sales, Project, Procurement, Finance and Human Capital Management.

A day in the life:


  • Implement efficient governance to manage an outsourced partner responsible for the execution of the daytoday operational support
  • Drive implementation and operationalisation of key support processes as per defined WSP standards
  • Dedicated COE service desk (L1 support)
  • Incident, problem & event management
  • Daytoday support and monitoring of operational jobs and integration (alert management)
  • Standard Access request management
  • Product change management and production readiness
  • Environment management
  • Patch management
  • Endtoend capacity and performance management
  • Knowledge management
  • Ensure effective resolution of technical issues (technical L2 and L3 support)
  • Ensure effective relationship management
  • With the Product Owners/teams from prompt resolution of solution fixes
  • With enduser community as per defined engagement model
  • With external providers for resolution of operational issues
  • Coordinate services management, including oversight of key metrics, SLA and quality review
  • Ensure appropriate management of crisis situations, including issue escalation, communication and resolution
  • Identify and implement continuous process improvements for area of accountability
  • Manage internal operational team (performance & development, succession, recruitment, etc)
